    For the second consecutive year, five NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball teams earned national academic honor.

  • Former IPFW great Ball selected to Volleyball Hall of Fame

    One of the top setters in both college men’s volleyball and USA Volleyball history will be enshrined in the Hall of Fame.

    The International Volleyball Hall of Fame announced Friday morning that former IPFW All-American setter Lloy Ball will be part of the 2015 class inducted into the Hall of Fame. (more…)

  • Jaeschke leaves Loyola early, signs with Polish pro team

    The reigning National Player of the Year will not be part of Loyola’s attempt next season at pulling off a national championship three-peat.

    All-American outside attacker Thomas Jaeschke announced Tuesday that he will forego his senior season and play professionally in the Polish Volleyball League. (more…)

  • AVCA unveils 2015 high school All-American Team

    Seventeen incoming freshmen recruits for NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball teams have now ended their high school careers receiving All-American honors.

    After four rounds and more than 10,000 online votes, four players have reached the championship round of the Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. Fan Choice National Player of the Year.

    The Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. Fan Choice National Player of the Year is an annual 64-player bracket-style tournament that recognizes the best individual performances from NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball players during the season and gives volleyball fans from around the world the chance decide the winner through online voting.

  • Numerous teams continue to earn high NCAA academic rating

    A majority of college men’s volleyball teams exceeded the overall NCAA national average for academic success.

    Fifteen of the 22 NCAA Division I men’s volleyball teams finished above the national average of a 978 Academic Progress Rate score, according to the annual report the NCAA released Wednesday. (more…)
