The Flyers announced recently that opposite Oguzhan Oguz has transferred to Lewis and will be on the roster for the upcoming season.

Oguz, a 6-foot-8 junior from Turkey, finished the 2023 season with a 4.20 kills per game average and had 21 matches with double-digit kills as a freshman with Jamestown. The opposite also was named the GPAC Player of the Year and a NAIA All-American honorable mention as Jamestown reached the NAIA Tournament quarterfinals.

Along with Oguz, the Flyers added eight more incoming players for the 2025 season. Among the new players included outside attacker Lorenzo Rivera George who spent the summer playing for the Puerto Rico Men’s Junior National Team.

Lewis returns multiple All-MIVA starters after reaching the MIVA Tournament quarterfinals last season.
