One of the top players in Lincoln Memorial program history is continuing their college career with the defending MIVA champions.

Ohio State announced recently that setter Kohl Kutsch will join the Buckeyes as a graduate transfer for the upcoming season.

Kutsch in three seasons as the Railsplitters’ starting setter had 2,385 career assists and guided the offense to more than .325 attack percentage in each of the last two seasons. The setter last season also led Lincoln Memorial to its sixth consecutive IVA championship and was named the IVA Tournament most valuable player.

Along with the conference accolades, Kutsch earned Division II All-American honors and finished seventh in the voting for the Lloy Ball Award as the nation’s top setter.

Ohio State ended last season winning its second consecutive MIVA championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. Despite both the Buckeyes starting setters graduating, the team returns multiple all-conference starters.
