  • Harvard signs multiple top 50 recruits for upcoming season

    A high school All-American and multiple Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 selections highlights Harvard’s newest recruiting class.

    Harvard announced on Tuesday that recent high school graduates Brad Gretsch, Marko Kostich, Jack Heavey and Riley Moore have all committed to play for the Crimson beginning next season.

  • U.S. releases pairs for upcoming Beach Volleyball World Championships

    Four current college men’s volleyball players will represented the United States at the biggest international junior beach volleyball tournament of the year.

    USA Volleyball announced Tuesday that the two beach volleyball pairs of UCLA outside attacker Jackson Bantle and Harvard outside attacker attacker Branden Clemens along with UCLA setter Hagen Smith and USC outside attacker Christopher Orenic will compete at the upcoming FIVB Beach Volleyball U21 World Championships.

  • Video: Princeton pounds past Harvard to reach EIVA championship match

    For the first time in four years, Princeton is heading back to the EIVA Tournament title match.

    All-EIVA outside attacker Pat Schwagler had a match-high 19 kills as the No. 3 seed Princeton defeated the No. 2 seed Harvard 25-20, 25-15, 22-25, 25-21 in the EIVA Tournament semifinals on Thursday in University Park, Pa.

  • Conference tournament semifinal matches to follow tonight

    Four matches tonight will go a long way to determine the NCAA Tournament field as the conference tournament resume in the MPSF and EIVA.

    Pepperdine and Stanford in a match-up between two of the top-five ranked teams in the nation highlight the slate of conference tournament semifinal matches. In addition, out in the East Coast it will be an All-Ivy League battle in the EIVA Tournament semifinals as Princeton and Harvard play each other.

  • EIVA announces 2014 Player of the Year, all-conference teams

    Penn State outside attacker Aaron Russell for the second consecutive year earned the conference’s top individual honor.

    The EIVA announced Tuesday afternoon that Russell was selected as the 2014 Uvaldo Acosta Memorial EIVA Player of the Year.

    The conference tournament quarterfinals have wrapped-up and only 12 teams remain in control their own fate to reach the NCAA Tournament.

  • 2014 Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. Freshmen All-American Team released

    A nationwide voting committee selected nine players to the inaugural Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. Freshmen All-American Team.

    The Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. Freshmen All-American Team honors the top NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball freshmen players from the regular season. It is also the only Freshmen All-American Team presented in college men’s volleyball.

  • Harvard, Erskine players named Springbak, Inc. Co-National Freshmen of the Week

    Two freshmen who helped lead their teams to postseason berths are now earning a share of a national weekly award.

    Off the Block announced Monday that Harvard setter Nick Bendell and Erskine outside attacker Roberto Perez Vargas were named the Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. Co-National Freshmen of the Week.

  • Top 5 college men’s volleyball matches to follow tonight

    The postseason is getting even closer and several matches tonight will go a long way to determine the conference tournament seeding.

    No. 10 Hawai’i will try to pull off the upset and move a step closer to reaching the postseason as it plays host No. 2 BYU. In addition, Penn State and Harvard will meet with first place in the EIVA on the line.

  • Top 5 college men’s volleyball matches to follow tonight

    Don’t let the lack match-ups between top 10 nationally ranked teams fool anyone, this is a big night in college men’s volleyball.

    First-place in the EIVA will be on the line as Princeton and Harvard renew their rivalry in a critical conference match. In addition, out in the West Coast No. 2 BYU, No. 4 UCLA and No. 5 Pepperdine will each attempt to bounce back from conference losses earlier this week.
