UCLA incoming recruit outside attacker Jake Arnitz had a match-high 38 kills to help his high school team Esperanza defeat Laguna Beach 25-23, 19-25, 27-25, 18-25, 15-9 in the California state tournament section finals on Saturday.
The East Coast is getting another college men’s volleyball team.
Alderson Broaddus University announced Friday that it will begin the process of transitioning its men’s volleyball program to NCAA Division II.
