An assistant coach who helped a first-year program make the postseason is joining the Stanford coaching staff.

Stanford announced recently that it hired Jordan Little to be a men’s volleyball assistant coach.

Little spent last season as an assistant with North Kentucky. The Norse in their inaugural season qualified for the MIVA Tournament, and the team forced the MIVA champions Ball State to overtime in a game during its conference tournament quarterfinals loss.

Little before joining Northern Kentucky was the head coach at Webber International and a club coach in Florida.

Webber International finished a combined 33-7 in two seasons under Little. The team also reached the conference tournament finals in both seasons.

Stanford ended the 2026 season titled for fourth place in the MPSF and advanced to the MPSF Tournament quarterfinals. Among the starters slated to return for the Cardinal in 2027 includes MPSF All-Freshman setter Jacob Little-Phillips
