Off the Block releases new Division II coaches poll

The biggest mover in the Division II coaches poll released on Wednesday morning was King who jumped two spots to No. 8, as they switch spots with fellow ConfCarolinas member Mount Olive.

The Tornado had won seven of their previous eight matches before losing in five games at Lees-McRae on Tuesday evening.

Charleston doubled their share of first place votes, with four this week, as the Golden Eagles are off a to perfect 11-0 record to start the 2023 season.

Lewis maintained their lead atop of the Division II coaches poll, garnering the other 8 of the 12 first place votes.

Both NCAA Division I and NCAA Division II men’s volleyball programs compete for the same national championship. The AVCA National Coaches Poll ranks the top 15 Division I-II men’s volleyball teams and is released each Monday during the regular season.

A national voting committee comprised of coaches from the more than 25 Division II teams determines the weekly rankings for the Division II National Coaches Poll.

The Division II National Coaches Poll will be released on the Off the Block website every Wednesday during the regular season.
