For anyone ever wanting the MPSF to travel more and play more non-conference matches, that wish is coming true tonight.
No. 1 Pepperdine will open its season with a rare East Coast road trip as it begins a two-match series against first-year program North Greenville. In addition, No. 10 Hawai’i will make its season debut playing a non-conference match against Stevens Tech. (more…)

No one will accuse North Greenville coach Fred Battenfield of creating an easy start to the season for his first-year program.
North Greenville announced Wednesday that it will open its inaugural season with back-to-back non-conference matches against the NCAA championship contenders Pepperdine.
A lot has happened in college men’s volleyball since UC Irvine won the NCAA championship in May.
The 2013 off-season has seen everything from major shake-ups to the NCAA Tournament and conference alignments to big non-conference matches being scheduled and new national awards added for the upcoming season. Check out the top 10 college men’s volleyball shorelines from the off-season.

Another men’s volleyball program will join the Conference Carolinas for the 2015 season.
The North Greenville University athletics department announced earlier this week that it sponsor men’s volleyball beginning in the 2014-15 school year.
