MPSF, MIVA brackets open for Off the Block bracket challenge
Volleyball fans still have time fill out and submit their MIVA Tournament and MPSF Tournament brackets and win a chance to potentially see the United States clinch an Olympic berth.
The Kill on Two/Off the Block NCAA Men’s Volleyball Postseason Bracket Challenge is a new contest that gives fans the opportunity to predict who will win matches in the upcoming MPSF, MIVA and EIVA conference tournaments and the four-team NCAA Tournament.

Pfeiffer sweeps Mount Olive to win Conference Carolinas championship
Pfeiffer for the first time in its program history is Conference Carolinas champions.
Outside attacker Caleb Brophy had a match-high 17 kills as Pfeiffer swept Mount Olive 25-23, 25-23, 25-21 in the Conference Carolinas championship match on Wednesday in Misenheimer, N.C.

My men’s volleyball media poll ballot
USC will end the regular season as the unanimous No. 1 in the national rankings.
The Trojans after winning the MPSF regular season championship during the weekend received every first-place vote in the new national media poll released Tuesday.

Winner, finalists announced for Best Men’s Volleyball Online Coverage of the Year
The Ball State Daily News is the winner of the second-annual Off the Block Best Men’s Volleyball Online Coverage of the Year.
Off the Block conducted a season-long analysis of the online coverage for NCAA men’s volleyball on college newspaper websites from around the nation.

Deeper look at men’s volleyball NCAA Tournament selection criteria
Best of luck to the three-person NCAA Tournament selection committee trying to figure out this year’s field — it’s that close.
With the regular season over and the conference tournaments about to start, the race for the lone at-large bid and seeding for the NCAA Tournament remains tight among the nation’s top teams. In addition, a closer look at the criteria used by the selection committee shows because of the close race the conference tournament matches could have an increased significance in determining this year’s at-large bid.
