Video: Princeton pounds past Harvard to reach EIVA championship match
For the first time in four years, Princeton is heading back to the EIVA Tournament title match.
All-EIVA outside attacker Pat Schwagler had a match-high 19 kills as the No. 3 seed Princeton defeated the No. 2 seed Harvard 25-20, 25-15, 22-25, 25-21 in the EIVA Tournament semifinals on Thursday in University Park, Pa.

AVCA announces 2014 All-American Teams, All-American Honorable Mentions
Stanford fell just short of a conference regular season title, but picked up the most All-American honors of any team in the nation.
The AVCA announced Thursday the 20 players making its annual All-American teams along with its All-American honorable mention list.

Conference tournament semifinal matches to follow tonight
The postseason spotlight is shining on the Midwest tonight as the MIVA Tournament continues.
No. 1 Loyola and IPFW will play each other in the conference tournament semifinals with the Mastodons eyeing to pull off one of its biggest upsets in program history. In addition, Lewis in the other semifinal will play its rival Ball State and try to make its case for a possible at-large bid. (more…)

It’s a repeat for Loyola All-American outside attacker Joseph Smalzer.
A nationwide voting committee for the second consecutive year selected Smalzer as the recipient of the annual Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. National Server of the Year.

Pacific’s Carmody wins Springbak, Inc. National Blocker of the Year
A nationwide voting committee selected Pacific middle attacker Tommy Carmody as the 2014 recipient of the Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. National Blocker of the Year.
The Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. National Blocker of the Year is annually awarded to the NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball player with the best front-row defensive performance during the regular season.

EIVA announces 2014 Player of the Year, all-conference teams
Penn State outside attacker Aaron Russell for the second consecutive year earned the conference’s top individual honor.
The EIVA announced Tuesday afternoon that Russell was selected as the 2014 Uvaldo Acosta Memorial EIVA Player of the Year.
