Christenson had a match-high two aces and guided the United States offense as it defeated Brazil 31-29, 21-25, 25-20, 25-23 on Sunday in Florence, Italy to win the nation’s first FIVB World League championship in six years.

Shane Davis isn’t leaving the Loyola sidelines any time soon after leading the school to its first NCAA men’s volleyball championship.
The Loyola athletics department announced Friday afternoon that Davis signed a five-year contract extension to be the Ramblers head coach that will last through the 2019 season.
Princeton coach Sam Shweisky is making sure his team gets tested right from the start of the upcoming season.
Shweisky in an interview with Off the Block earlier this week said that Princeton will open the 2015 season with a single-season program-record six matches against the MPSF.
Three more players from the disbanded Pacific men’s volleyball team will join Ohio State for the upcoming season.
Ohio State recently announced that former Pacific middle attacker Matt Dorn, outside attacker Christian Franceschi and opposite Ryan Genn have transferred to play for the Buckeyes starting in the 2015 season.
