    A nationwide voting committee selected UC Irvine outside attacker Tamir Hershko, Loyola outside attacker Thomas Jaeschke, Penn State outside attacker Aaron Russell and Pepperdine outside attacker Josh Taylor as finalists for the inaugural Karch Kiraly Award.

    A nationwide voting committee selected USC setter Micah Christenson, Loyola setter Peter Hutz and Pepperdine setter Matt West as finalists for the annual Lloy Ball Award.

    A nationwide voting committee selected Loyola outside attacker Thomas Jaeschke, Penn State outside attacker Aaron Russell and George Mason opposite Paco Velez as finalists for the annual Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. National Server of the Year.

    The Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. National Server of the Year recognizes the top individual serving performance from a NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball player during the regular season. (more…)

  • Loyola jumps to No. 2 in newest RPI rankings

    Loyola did enough with its two weekend victories to surpass UC Irvine in the RPI.

    The Ramblers jumped ahead of the Anteaters to No. 2 in the newest RPI rankings released Monday after the team closed out its regular season on a four-match winning streak. (more…)

  • 2015 Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. Freshmen All-American Team released

    A nationwide voting committee selected eight players to the annual Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. Freshmen All-American Team.

    The Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. Freshmen All-American Team honors the top NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball freshmen players from the regular season. It is also the only Freshmen All-American Team presented in college men’s volleyball. (more…)

    A freshman is earning the first national award of his college career after helping No. 6 BYU upset No. 1 Hawai’i on back-to-back nights.

  • Daily Bruin wins 2015 Best Men’s Volleyball Online Coverage of Year

    The Daily Bruin is the winner of the annual Off the Block Best Men’s Volleyball Online Coverage of the Year for the first time in the award’s history.

    The Best Men’s Volleyball Coverage of the Year award recognizes the nation’s top college student-newspaper in college men’s volleyball coverage.
