No. 5/5 UCLA has used multiple lineups this season as they have been ravaged by injuries. Today, in their win over Grand Canyon, was no different as the Bruins used a 5-1 offense, but had their usual setter, Micah Ma’a, hit outside. One of those injured was senior outside attacker, Dylan Missry, who missed a month earlier this year. Listen to his interview with special correspondent, Rae Loverde, as he discusses overcoming these injuries, and how they plan on finishing the season strong.

(more…)Concordia-Irvine outside attackers Raymond Barsemian and Jordan Hoppe combined for 43 kills in a come-from-behind victory over No. 10/10 BYU on Thursday.
The Eagles attacked at a .444 clip in the last two games. However, BYU out-blocked Concordia-Irvine, 14 to 1.5, and opposite Gabi Garcia Fernandez had a season-best 31 kills.
