A two-time AVCA 30-under-30 recipient will take over at Barton.
Barton announced recently that Dustin Stueck was hired as the team’s new men’s volleyball head coach.
Stueck joins Barton following a three-year head coaching stint at Bryant & Stratton College, a junior college in Wisconsin. The Bobcats under Stueck reached the 2024 NJCAA Final Four and returned to the NJCAA National Championship in 2025.
Along with his college experience, Stueck is the head coach for the Milwaukee Sting and led the club team to the No. 2 ranking in Wisconsin.
Stueck was named 30-under-30 high school coach in 2022 and then earned the award again at the college level earlier this year. The AVCA 30-under-30 annually recognizes each year the top up-and-coming coaches throughout volleyball who are 30 years old or younger.
This will be Stueck’s first NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball coaching position. Stueck was NAIA Academic All-American who graduated from the school in 2023.
“Joining Barton College is an incredible opportunity, and I’m excited to continue the success this program has established,” Stueck said in a statement. “Our focus will be on competing for championships while developing young men of high character and sportsmanship.”

Barton finished last season in fifth place in the ConfCarolinas and advanced to the conference tournament quarterfinals.
