Initial look at ConfCarolinas Tournament quaterfinals

The postseason will get underway in the ConfCarolinas with a spot in the NCAA Tournament on the line.

The conference tournament opens with two quarterfinal matches on Tuesday. Check out the matchups and the historical tidbits to know before filling out your ConfCarolinas Tournament bracket.

No. 3 seed Erskine (13-10, 9-5 ConfCarolinas) vs. No. 6 seed King (6-20, 4-10 ConfCarolinas)
Match vitals:

Season series: Erskine swept King both in February and March.

Stats to know: Erskine is attempting to reach the ConfCarolinas Tournament semifinals in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2016. King as a No. 3 seed last year became the lowest seed to win a ConfCarolinas Tournament championship. No team has ever repeated as ConfCarolinas Tournament champs since the conference started receiving an auto-bid to the NCAA Tournament in 2014.
