Long Beach State last season earned one of the two at-large bids to the NCAA Tournament and advanced to the NCAA Tournament semifinals for the sixth time in the last seven seasons. Four All-American return for Long Beach State, including All-American libero Mason Briggs who spent the offseason playing with the U.S. Men’s National Team.
The Beach also was ranked No. 1 in the Big West Preseason Poll that was released earlier this week.
