Having won their last three matches after losing their first match of the year two Saturdays ago, the Golden Eagles are the unanimous No. 1 pick in the Division II coaches poll released on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles received all 14 first-place votes, after having only received 11 of the 14 first place votes in the previous poll.

The top ten remained the same from last week’s poll, with the only change being Limestone jumping one stop to tie King at No. 9.

Daemen, now within one point of No. 5 McKendree, has three matches this week in southern California, including two against nationally-ranked teams.

ConfCarolinas led all conferences with three teams ranked in this week’s poll.

Both NCAA Division I and NCAA Division II men’s volleyball programs compete for the same national championship. The AVCA National Coaches Poll ranks the top 15 Division I-II men’s volleyball teams and is released each Monday during the regular season.

A national voting committee comprised of coaches from the more than 25 Division II teams determines the weekly rankings for the Division II National Coaches Poll.

The Division II National Coaches Poll will be released on the Off the Block website every Wednesday during the regular season.
