It’s the final week of the MIVA regular season and seven of the eight seeds for the conference tournament remain undecided.

MIVA Tournament overview
All eight MIVA teams qualified for the conference tournament quarterfinals that will take place Saturday, April 16. The top-four teams earn the right to play host to the conference tournament quarterfinals match. In addition, the two remaining highest seeded teams after the quarterfinals get to play host to the semifinals on Wednesday, April 20, and then the remaining highest seeded team will play host to the finals on Saturday, April 23.

Seeding scenarios
Ball State
– Can clinch the MIVA regular season championship, the No. 1 seed and home court advantage throughout the MIVA Tournament if it beats Loyola on Thursday or it beats Purdue Fort Wayne and Loyola loses to Ohio State on Saturday.
Loyola
– Can clinch the MIVA regular season championship, the No. 1 seed and home court advantage throughout the MIVA Tournament if it beats both Ball State on Thursday and Ohio State on Saturday or it beats Ball State on Thursday and Ball State loses to Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday.
McKendree
– Can clinch the No. 3 seed with a win; or a Purdue Fort Wayne loss, a Lewis loss and an Ohio State loss
– Can clinch the No. 4 seed with a Purdue Fort Wayne loss
Purdue Fort Wayne
– Can clinch the No. 3 seed with two wins and two McKendree losses
– Can clinch the No. 4 seed with two wins; or one win, an Ohio State loss and a Lewis loss.
