Seeding scenarios for upcoming MIVA Tournament

One week remains in the MIVA regular season and none of the eight seeds for the conference tournament are set.

Check out all the possible conference tournament seeding scenarios for each team.

MIVA Tournament overview

All eight MIVA teams qualified for the conference tournament quarterfinals that will take place Saturday, April 10. The top-four teams earn the right to play host to the conference tournament quarterfinals match. In addition, the two remaining highest seeded teams after the quarterfinals get to play host to the semifinals on Saturday, April 17, and then the remaining highest seeded team will play host to the finals on April 24.

MIVA Tournament seeding scenarios

Lewis
— Can clinch the MIVA regular season title, the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament and home court throughout the conference tournament if it wins one of its two remaining matches.

Loyola
— Can clinch the MIVA regular season title, the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament and home court throughout the conference tournament if it wins its two remaining matches.
— Can clinch the No. 2 seed for the conference tournament if it wins one of its two remaining matches or it loses both its remaining matches and a McKendree loss.

McKendree
— Can clinch the No. 2 seed for the conference tournament if it wins its two remaining matches and Loyola loses both of its matches.
— Can clinch the No. 3 seed for the conference tournament if it wins one of its two remaining matches.
— Can clinch the No. 4 seed for the conference tournament if Ohio State loses one of its two remaining matches.

Ball State
— Can clinch the No. 3 seed for the conference tournament if it wins its two remaining matches.
— Can clinch the No. 4 seed for the conference tournament if it wins one of its remaining matches and Ohio State loses a match, or Ohio State loses both of its matches.

Ohio State
— Can clinch the No. 2 seed for the conference tournament if it wins its two remaining matches, Loyola loses both its matches and McKendree loses both its matches.
— Can clinch the No. 3 seed for the conference tournament if it wins its two remaining matches, Loyola loses both its matches and McKendree wins both of its matches.
— Can clinch the No. 4 seed for the conference tournament if it wins its two remaining matches and a Ball State loss.

Purdue Fort Wayne
— Can clinch the No. 5 seed for the conference tournament if it wins its two remaining matches and Ohio State loses both its matches.

Lindenwood
— Can clinch the No. 7 seed for the conference tournament if it wins its two remaining matches, wins one of its remaining and a Quincy loss, or Quincy loses both of its matches.

Quincy
— Can clinch the No. 7 seed for the conference tournament if it wins its two remaining matches and a Lindenwood loss, or wins one of its remaining matches and Lindenwood loses both of its matches.
