What to know: King will try to find a way to slow down the top offense in the ConfCarolinas as it travels to play first-place Mount Olive in the Molten/Off the Block National Match of the Week. Mount Olive leads the conference with a .297 attack percentage, including hitting a season-high hitting a season-high a .455 in a sweep against King last month. Outside attacker Tobi Azeez is in the nation’s top five with a 4.30 kills per game average and has at least 20 kills in three of the last four matches. Azeez led all players with 25 kills on a .321 attack percentage as Mount Olive avoided a near-upset and beat Lees-McRae in five games Friday to extend its winning streak to four matches. King is concluding a three-match road trip following losses to North Greenville on Wednesday and Barton on Friday. Outside attacker Joshua Kim had a team-high 19 kills in the four-game loss to Barton, which featured three games going to overtime. Kim is sixth in the conference with a 3.61 kills per game average but was limited to a season-low six kills in the previous meeting against Mount Olive.

Mount Mercy player to watch: Outside attacker Evan Gaskill is in the NAIA’s top 20 with a 3.77 kills per game average and has double-digit kills in all but one match this season.
Quick breakdown: One of the top offensive teams in the nation will go up against one of the best defensive teams as No. 7 Park plays host to No. 14 Mount Mercy. Setter Luciano Bucci has an NAIA-best 10.81 assists per game average and has guided the Park offense to the .292 attack percentage, seventh-best in the NAIA.
