Two more players from Southern California will join the latest USC recruiting class.

USC announced during the weekend that high school seniors Kyle Paulson and Christian Thomas have both signed to play for the Trojans starting in the 2021 season.

Paulson, a 6-foot-6 setter and opposite from Long Beach, California, was a second-team selection to the 2019 Long Beach Press-Telegram Dream Team and was a two-sport athlete in high school. He also was a member of the U.S. Boys’ Youth A1 National Training Team last year.

Thomas, a 6-foot-7 middle attacker from Redondo Beach, California, helped his club team win a gold medal at the USA Volleyball Boys’ National Championships last year. Along with playing volleyball, Thomas was a member of his high school’s basketball team.

These two latest signings increases the Trojans’ incoming recruiting class to five players.

USC a year removed from reaching the NCAA Tournament went 5-14 in 2020 before the season was canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic.
