There is a new No. 1 team in the Off the Block National Media Poll for the first time this season.

BYU received one more vote than Hawai’i to jump atop the new national media poll that was released Tuesday on Off the Block.

Both the Cougars and Rainbow Warriors are the only two remaining undefeated teams in the nation. In addition, BYU made this move in the poll following a two-match series sweep against No. 3 UC Santa Barbara during the weekend.

The National Media Poll is the only rankings in NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball solely determined by media members. The 10 teams receiving the most votes are ranked in the National Media Poll, while other schools earning votes but finishing outside of the top 10 are considered teams receiving votes.

A new national media poll is released every Tuesday during the regular season on Off the Block’s website.
