The home-and-home exhibition series that spanned two continents will come to California.
UC Irvine will play Shanghai Golden Age in a preseason match tonight at the Bren Events Center. The Anteaters previous played the Chinese professional team during an 18-day Asian tour last month.
This also will be the second time in the three years that UC Irvine has played host to Shanghai Golden Age during the preseason. Shanghai Golden Age defeated UC Irvine in four games in a 2015 exhibition match.

UC Irvine player to watch: All-American middle attacker Scott Stadick was named the 2018 Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. National Blocker of the Year after finishing second in the nation with a 1.32 blocks per game average.
