Quick hits: College men’s volleyball players’ performances in World League

DeFalco had a team-high two aces and contributed nine kills and six digs in a five-game loss to Russia on Saturday. The 2017 AVCA National Player of the Year also had a combined eight kills in the United States’ two victories during the weekend.

Jeff Jendryk | United States | Loyola
Jendryk had nine kills and zero attack errors while adding a match-high four blocks as the United States defeated Poland in four games on Sunday to clinch a berth to the FIVB World League Final Round. The All-American middle attacker had at least seven kills and two blocks in all three World League matches this weekend, including nine kills and no attack errors in a loss to Russia.

Jauhiainen did not play in any of Finland’s three matches as the team went 1-2 during the weekend to conclude World League play in ninth place in Group 2.
