All-MPSF setter Jennings Franciskovic had 38 assists and guided the offense to a .429 attack percentage as No. 4/4 Hawai’i swept No. 3/3 BYU 25-22, 25-23, 25-20 in the MPSF Tournament semifinals on Thursday in Long Beach, California.
The Rainbow Warriors committed less than 10 attack errors to reach the conference tournament finals for the first time in more than a decade. In addition, outside attacker Kupono Fey had a match-high 16 kills, while opposite Stijn van Tilburg added 12 kills.
