USC coach Bill Ferguson has once again put together one of the top recruiting classes in the nation.
USC had a nation-best seven incoming freshmen recruits selected to the Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 list, which was in released in the magazine’s July issue.
This is the second consecutive year that Ferguson has signed seven high school seniors on the Fab 50 list to join the Trojans. USC ended last season reaching the Final Four for the third time in the last four years and lost to UC Irvine in the championship match.
Among USC’s Fab 50 recruits this year includes five players from California, a player from Wisconsin and a player from Illinois.
UCLA had six incoming freshmen make the Fab 50 list in final recruiting class of recently retired Hall of Fame coach Al Scates. In addition, Loyola and Stanford each had five Fab 50 recruits.
Long Beach State rounded-out the top five for most Fab 50 recruits, landing four players from the list.
