Stanford middle attacker Eric Mochalski had 10 kills and set a school single-match record with a .833 attack percentage as No. 4 Stanford swept Loyola 25-19, 25-11, 25-21 on Saturday in Palo Alto, Calif.
Mochalski, who had zero attack errors on 12 attempts, broke the Stanford rally-scoring record that was previously held by Craig Buell who had a .824 attack percentage in a 2003 match against UC Irvine. Stanford (3-0) out-hit Loyola (2-4) .468 to .169, and Mochalski was one of three Cardinal players to have at least 10 kills and a .450 attack percentage in the sweep.
