College greats named finalists for SoCal Volleyball Hall of Fame
College men’s volleyball players and coaches were well represented among the finalists being considered for the newest volleyball hall of fame.
The Southern California Indoor Volleyball Hall of Fame announced Wednesday that 27 individuals were selected as finalists for the organization’s second class of hall of fame inductees. (more…)

U.S. announces preliminary roster for U19 World Championship
More than 20 incoming college freshmen and high school players have made the U.S. preliminary roster for an upcoming international tournament.
USA Volleyball announced on Tuesday the 23 players that will compete to make the final 12-player U.S. roster for the 2017 FIVB U19 World Championship. (more…)

U.S. reveals final roster for upcoming U21 World Championship
Three days before the start of the FIVB U21 World Championship and the United States has completed the challenge of making cuts to finalize its tournament roster.
USA volleyball unveiled on Monday its 12-player roster that includes three college men’s volleyball All-Americans and several players who earned all-conference honors. (more…)

Stanford outside Ewert wins National Player of Month
Stanford outside attacker Jordan Ewert had a voting surge in the final hours to earn a national honor in one of the closest races in the award’s history.
Ewert out of the more than 4,250 votes cast beat the runner-up Hawai’i opposite Stijn van Tilburg by 27 votes to win the Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. National Player of the Month for February. (more…)
