Multiple teams have an opportunity tonight to pull off monumental upsets.
Concordia-Irvine playing host to No. 14 Stanford highlights the slate of matches tonight as the Eagles attempt to get their first win against a NCAA Division I-II nationally ranked team. Video: No. 12 Stanford dominates CSUN in decisive fifth game
Middle attacker Conrad Kaminski had a match-high 12 blocks and added nine kills as No. 12 Stanford defeated Cal State Northridge 26-24, 19-25, 25-19, 22-25, 15-3 on Friday in Palo Alto, California.
Kaminski also helped keep the Matadors without a kill and to a negative-.625 attack percentage in the decisive fifth game. Stanford finished the conference match out-hitting Cal State Northridge .205 to .171. (more…)

Video: No. 5 USC overpowers No. 12 Stanford in sweep
Middle attacker Robert Feathers had a team-high nine kills and four blocks as No. 5 USC swept No. 12 Stanford 25-16, 27-25, 25-19 on Monday in Los Angeles to remain undefeated in the MPSF.
USC in the home conference victory out-hit Stanford .371 to .165, including having a .560 attack percentage in the opening game. In addition, Feathers was one of three Trojans to finish the match with nine kills. (more…)

Video: No. 2 Loyola rolls through AVCA Showcase, sweeps No. 10 Stanford
Eight months later and outside attacker Cody Caldwell still continued to wreak havoc against Stanford.
Caldwell in an early-season rematch of last year’s NCAA finals had a match-high 10 kills and added four blocks as No. 2 Loyola swept No. 10 Stanford at the AVCA Showcase on Saturday in Palo Alto, California. (more…)
