  • Conference Carolinas champions Pfeiffer hires Lawson as head coach

    A former professional player from the European Volleyball League will take over a program that has won back-to-back Conference Carolinas championships.

    Pfeiffer after almost a month-long nationwide search announced Monday that it hired Paul Lawson to be its new men’s volleyball coach head coach.

    UC Irvine days after repeating as national champions now ends the season atop the national media poll.

    The Anteaters received every first-place vote to move back to No. 1 in the season’s final nation media poll that was released Tuesday.
