Two outside attackers who were among the EIVA offensive leaders are earning a share of the conference’s top individual honor.

Audio: NJIT coach reacts to sweeping No. 12 USC at AVCA Showcase

Setter Roque Nido guided the offense to a .442 attack percentage as NJIT swept No. 12 USC 25-20, 25-20, 25-17 on Saturday at the AVCA Showcase for the program’s first win against a nationally ranked team in three years.

Erskine, Lewis, NJIT players make Puerto Rico roster for U21 World Championship

Three NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball players have traveled halfway around the world to represent Puerto Rico at one of the top international tournaments of the summer.

NJIT setter Roque Nido, Lewis middle attacker Antonio Elias Rodriguez and Erskine setter Francisco Pomar were selected to the Puerto Rican Men’s Junior National Team for the FIVB U21 World Championship that started on Thursday in Bahrain.
