BYU and Hawai’i midway through the season are leading the nation in home attendance and by a considerable margin.
Both the Cougars and Rainbow Warriors have more than double the home attendance average of any other NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball teams after the two months of the regular season.
It was a weekend filled of upsets ranging from historic upsets to upsets that could potentially alter the landscape of the national rankings.

It’s all about the rematch tonight in college men’s volleyball.
No. 2 BYU and No. 4 Pepperdine will play each other for the second in time in four weeks in another showdown between two top-five ranked teams. In addition, No. 3 UCLA and Hawai’i will close out their two-match conference series after the Rainbow Warriors pulled off the upset in the opener.

Off the Block on the final Thursday of each month during the college men’s volleyball season in an effort to help preserve the sport’s history will showcase several match highlights and stories from the past.
Opposite Tanner Jansen for the second consecutive match led the Trojans in kills and helped No. 8 USC complete the conference series sweep against No. 9 Hawai’i.
Jansen had a match-high 13 kills as the Trojans swept the Rainbow Warriors 25-22, 25-20, 25-18 on Saturday in Los Angeles.
The college men’s volleyball spotlight is shining bright on the Midwest and East Coast tonight.
No. 1 Loyola will try to keep its perfect record intact as it plays host to IPFW — a team that has a history of beating Loyola on its homecourt. In addition, out on the East Coast first-place in the EIVA will be on the line as Penn State and Harvard play each other.
