Charleston upsets Princeton to advance to EIVA semifinals

Opposite Garret Schnitker made sure their time at Charleston didn’t end with the program still winless in postseason play.

Schnitker on back-to-back plays in overtime had a kill and a match-winning block as the No. 6 seed Charleston swept the No. 3 seed Princeton 25-17, 25-23, 27-25 in the EIVA Tournament quarterfinals on Wednesday in University Park, Pennsylvania. Off the Block releases new college men’s volleyball national media poll

The latest rankings are out for the Off the Block National Media Poll.

The National Media Poll is the only rankings in NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball solely determined by media members. The 10 teams receiving the most votes are ranked in the National Media Poll, while other schools earning votes but finishing outside of the top 10 are considered teams receiving votes.
