  • My men’s volleyball media poll ballot

    Pepperdine and Ohio State were rewarded for their victories against ranked teams last week in the latest national media poll.

    Pepperdine after defeating No. 2 UC Irvine jumped up one spot to No. 3, while Ohio State following its sweep against non-conference rival Penn State moved one spot to No. 6 in the newest national media poll released Tuesday.

  • Top 5 men’s volleyball matches to follow tonight

    About one month away from the start of the conference tournaments and several teams postseason fates could be on the line this weekend.

    Cal Baptist will try to hold down eighth place and the final spot in the MPSF Tournament as it travels to No. 1 BYU. In addition, Hawai’i and USC will meet in a two-match series that is a virtual must-win for both schools.

  • Penn State’s Contreras highlights EIVA Hall of Fame class

    The outside attacker who led Penn State to become the first non-West Coast team to win a national championship in NCAA men’s volleyball history and former two head coaches will be inducted into the EIVA Hall of Fame.

    The EIVA announced Thursday that Ivan Contreras, Glen Nelson and Wayne Stalick will be the second class inducted into the conference’s hall of fame.
