Right from the start it was clear opposite Kainoa Wade would have a big offensive performance.

Wade had eight kills in the first game and finished with a match-high 16 kills as the United States defeated the Dominican Republic 22-25, 30-28, 25-17, 25-20 at the NORCECA Final Six on Wednesday in Puerto Rico.

McKendree setter Nate Flayter delivered a career-best serving performance to help the United States earn its first win at an international tournament.
