Barton surges in latest Division II coaches poll

Fresh off three victories at the Grow the Game Challenge, the Barton Bulldogs made the largest jump in this week’s Off the Block/Springbak Division II National Coaches Poll, released Tuesday. Barton jumped from the No. 4 spot last week to the No. 2 spot, and even garnered a first-place vote.

Off the Block releases new college men’s volleyball national media poll

No. 5 Loyola was the biggest mover in the latest National Media Poll released on Tuesday. The Ramblers moved up two spots after beating No. 7 Pepperdine in five games, and sweeping UC San Diego.

Video: No. 1/1 Long Beach outside attacker, coach react to sweep of No. 6/5 UCLA
No. 1/1 Long Beach State swept No. 6/5 UCLA in a rematch of the 2018 NCAA tournament title match. The Beach outhit the Bruins, .419 to .210, which featured an efficient performance by senior outsider attacker, Louis Richard (eight errorless kills on 15 attempts). Long Beach State also out-blocked UCLA in dominant fashion, 11.5 to 2.0.
