Jessup for the first time in program history is traveling to the East Coast.
The second-year program as part of releasing its 2026 schedule announced it will play a two-match non-conference road series against NJIT.
This will be the first all-time meeting between the two programs and the first time Jessup, a new member of the MPSF, has faced an EIVA opponent.
Jessup in its inaugural season did not leave its home state of California during the regular season. The Division II program competing last season as an independent had a winning record and defeated Roberts Wesleyan in its season finale to win the NCCAA Tournament championship.
NJIT ended last season in second place in the EIVA and lost to Penn State in the conference tournament semifinals. Among the starters returning for the Highlanders includes All-EIVA middle attacker Andrew Fedmasu, who was in the nation’s top 20 with a 1.01 blocks per game average last season.
The series with NJIT will be part of a four-match East Coast road trip for Jessup. It also will conclude the early-season trip with a two-match series against Sacred Heart.
Jessup is one of two new schools that joined the MPSF in the offseason.
Along with this East Coast road trip, Jessup will have four non-conference matches against teams that ended last season ranked in the national coaches poll.
