The defending ECC champions will be tested right from the start of the season.

St. Thomas Aquinas as part of unveiling its 2026 schedule announced it will open the season with non-conference road matches against Pepperdine and USC.

This will be the first time in the Spartans’ three-year program history they will travel to the West Coast. It also will be the second consecutive year St. Thomas Aquinas will begin the season against teams likely to be nationally ranked.

St. Thomas Aquinas opened last season with two road losses to BYU. The Spartans rebounded from those early-season losses and ended the season undefeated in conference play and won their second consecutive ECC championship.
