The NCAA men’s volleyball committee is responsible for selecting the five at-large bids and seeding the 12-team field for the annual NCAA Tournament. It also oversees the championship event and annually adopts any rule changes.

The group is comprised of five individuals who each serve four-year terms – one representative from the East Coast, Midwest and West Coast along with two at-large selections.

James will replace Princeton deputy athletics director Anthony Archbald on the committee. Archbald concluded his term after serving as the committee chair last season.
