The U.S. roster is set for the FIVB U19 World Championship.
USA Volleyball announced Thursday the 12-person roster for the upcoming international tournament in July.
The roster will primarily feature high school players and incoming college freshmen.
Pepperdine outside attacker Grant Lamoureux will be the only player on the U.S. roster with NCAA experience. Lamoureux redshirted for the Waves last season after helping the United States in 2024 qualify for the U19 World Championship and winning the Best Spiker Award at the 2024 NORCECA Continental Championship.
Long Beach State and UCLA lead all schools with two commits making the U.S. roster. BYU, CSUN, Hawai’i, Penn State, Stanford and UC Santa Barbara each also have a commit selected to the team.
The World Championship is a 24-team event starting July 24 in Uzbekistan. The United States will play Korea, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba and Finland in pool-play and need to finish in the top four of its six-team pool to advance to the Round of 16.
The United States won the gold medal at the most recent U19 NORCECA Continental Championship.
