Add another national honor to the resume of UCLA middle attacker Cameron Thorne.

Off the Block announced Wednesday that a nationwide voting committee selected Thorne as the winner of the 2025 Ryan Millar Award.

The middle attacker also was in the nation’s top 15 with a 1.10 blocks per game average to help UCLA advance to the NCAA Tournament finals.

The voting committee for the Ryan Millar Award was comprised of more than 25 college men’s volleyball head coaches and volleyball reporters from around the nation. The top four vote-getters were named finalists for the Ryan Millar Award.

Thorne earned 44 votes – double the votes of runner-up Loyola middle attacker Nicodemus Meyer. Lincoln Memorial middle attacker Matthew Gentry finished in third place with 21 votes, while USC middle attacker ended in fourth place with 20 votes.

This is the 10th year that Off the Block has presented the Ryan Millar Award.
