Two more conference wins helped UCLA jump in the national rankings.
The Bruins moved up one spot to No. 2 in the latest Off the Block National Media Poll that was released Tuesday.
UCLA swept a two-match road series against Stanford to remain in first place in the MPSF and surpass Hawai’i in the National Media Poll. Hawai’i during the weekend split its two-match series against Long Beach, which stayed at No. 4 in the rankings.
The National Media Poll is the only rankings in NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball solely determined by media members. The 10 teams receiving the most votes are ranked in the National Media Poll, while other schools earning votes but finishing outside of the top 10 are considered teams receiving votes.
A new national media poll is released every Tuesday during the regular season on Off the Block’s website.
