USC coach Nygaard unveils his first recruiting class
New USC coach Jeff Nygaard has signed three high school all-conference players for his inaugural recruiting class.
Nygaard announced Tuesday that high school seniors Sean Morrissey, Lucas Lossone and Jackson Wedbush each signed national letters of intent to play for the Trojans beginning in 2017. (more…)

USC’s Benesh leads U.S. to fifth-game OT win vs. Iran
USC middle attacker Andy Benesh showed why the U.S. coaching staff had such high praise for its middle attackers entering the FIVB U-21 World Championship.
Benesh finished with a match-high 17 kills and added three blocks as the United States defeated Iran 25-19, 21-25, 25-22, 24-26, 16-14 on Tuesday in Mexico for its first victory at the international tournament. (more…)

USC’s Benesh leads U.S. to near-comeback win vs. Argentina
USC middle attacker Andy Benesh even in an U.S. near-comeback loss was difficult to contain both on offense and defense.
Benesh had a team-high 17 kills and six blocks as the United States rallied a two-game deficit before losing to Argentina 25-21, 25-23, 21-25, 22-25, 15-10 in its FIVB U-21 World Championship pool-play opener on Friday in Mexico. (more…)

Penn State schedules home matches vs. UCLA, USC to open 2016 season
The site of the 2016 NCAA Tournament will also be the location for one of the biggest non-conference events at the start of the upcoming season.
