  • UC Irvine remains No. 1 in new Relative Strength Factor rankings

    A victory against the nation’s top ranked team has helped UC Irvine keep the top spot in the Off the Block Relative Strength Factor rankings.

    UC Irvine after defeating No. 1 UCLA in five games during the weekend remained atop the new RSF rankings that Off the Block released Monday.

  • Top 5 men’s volleyball matches to follow tonight

    The biggest weekend of non-conference matches is being overshadowed by a matchup between the top two teams in the nation.

    No. 1 UCLA will play host to No. 2 UC Irvine as the Bruins attempt to extend their first-place lead in the MPSF. In addition, No. 7 Lewis looks to rebound from its upset loss against Cal Baptist and closes the Active Ankle Tournament against No. 10 Long Beach State.

  • My men’s volleyball media poll ballot

    Penn State’s climb in the national rankings continues.

    The Nittany Lions after winning their 11th consecutive match during the weekend jumped to No. 3 in the new top 10 national media poll released Tuesday afternoon — the highest ranking for a non-West Coast team this season. In addition, UCLA remained No. 1 in the national rankings for the second straight week, while UC Irvine moved up to No. 2 following its victory against No. 4 Stanford.

  • Top 5 men’s volleyball matches to follow tonight

    It’s the start of the second half of the season, and it’s a must-win day for several teams with the conference tournaments looming.

    No. 6 BYU will look to stay in the top four of the MPSF standings as it plays host to No. 9 Pepperdine. In addition, Hawai’i will attempt to stay in contention for a spot in the conference tournament as it travels to play No. 5 USC.

  • My men’s volleyball media poll ballot

    It didn’t take UCLA long to reclaim the top spot in the national rankings.

    The Bruins received all but one first-place vote and following a one-week abscence moved back to No. 1 in the new national media poll released Tuesday.

  • Voting now open for Off the Block Fan Choice Player of the Month

    Off the Block selected the 10 finalists, and now it is up to the fans to determine who should win the Off the Block Fan Choice Player of the Month for February.

    The Player of the Month award recognizes the best individual performances from NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball players during the month and gives volleyball fans from around the world the chance to determine who was the best player.

  • Stanford remains No. 1 in new Relative Strength Factor rankings

    A weekend loss was not enough to knock off Stanford from the top of the Off the Block Relative Strength Factor rankings.

    Stanford despite losing in five games to No. 6 USC on Saturday was able to remain No. 1 for the second straight week in the new RSF rankings that Off the Block released Monday.

  • My men’s volleyball media poll ballot

    There is a new No. 1 in the national media poll.

    Stanford for the first time this season was ranked No. 1 in the new national media poll that was released Tuesday. The Cardinal jumped up two spots to replace UCLA from atop the rankings.
