LOS ANGELES — It’s always a special night when the Bruins face the Trojans on the volleyball court.
The teams entered the match knowing that bragging rights for the rest of the season were on the line. In the end, another chapter to the best rivalry in men’s college volleyball was written Wednesday in the Galen Center and another tally was added to the win column for UCLA against their crosstown foes. Video: Missry and company leads UCLA in sweep of Sacred Heart
Outside attacker Dylan Missry made sure there would not be a chance for a wild non-conference upset at the John Wooden Center.
Missry finished with both a match-high 10 kills on a .625 attack percentage and three aces as No. 6/6 UCLA swept Sacred Heart on Friday in the first all-time meeting between the two programs. (more…)
