Video: No. 15 Cal State Northridge offense too much for UCSD

Opposite Damani Lenore had a match-high 12 kills as No. 15 Cal State Northridge swept UC San Diego 25-20, 25-13, 25-21 on Friday in Northridge, California.

The Matadors in the conference victory out-hit the Tritons .301 to .027 and had three players finish with at least nine kills. Q&A with UC San Diego coach Ring on improvements to his program

Coach Kevin Ring is well aware of the challenges of playing in the MPSF but for the UC San Diego there is a reason to be optimistic about the upcoming season.

Ring said in a recent interview with Off the Block that UC San Diego will be a young team next season but is capable of being in the contention for conference tournament berth.
