BYU, Stanford, Lewis and Loyola after all reaching the NCAA Tournament last season have agreed to play in a non-conference event at Stanford during the opening weekend of the 2015 regular season.

The U.S. roster is set for the tournament that will determine if the country qualifies for the 2015 FIVB Men’s Junior World Championship.
USA Volleyball announced its 12-player roster that includes two Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. Freshman All-American Team selections for the upcoming NORCECA Men’s U-21 Continental Championship.

Stanford is not only getting to host the NCAA Tournament next season, but possibly both play-in matches.
The NCAA men’s volleyball committee at its annual meetings approved a recommendation to keep the play-in matches at the site of the NCAA Tournament, committee chairman Ron Shayka said in an interview with Off the Block on Thursday.

For the second time in the last four years, the national champion resides in the Midwest as the No. 1 seed Loyola defeated the No. 3 seed in four games on Saturday to capture its first national title in program history.

The dream season is now a reality.
The No. 1 seed Loyola had a near NCAA Tournament record .452 attack percentage as it defeated the No. 3 seed Stanford 25-17, 19-25, 25-19, 25-15 on Saturday in Chicago to win its first national title in program history.
It’s taken four months, hundreds of matches, four conference tournaments and two rounds of the NCAA Tournament but it’s now down one final match to decide the national champion.
The No. 1 seed Loyola and the No. 3 seed Stanford will meet in the NCAA Tournament championship. The Ramblers are attempting to keep their dream season alive and win a title on its home court, while the Cardinal has a chance to win its second NCAA title in the last five years.
There has been one constant for Stanford during its postseason run: its diehard and loudest fan in the stands.
