Change continues to appear in the latest Off the Block weekly bracketology projections as the men’s volleyball NCAA Tournament gets closer.
The men’s volleyball NCAA Tournament is comprised of four teams. Automatic bids are awarded to the winners of the EIVA, MIVA and MPSF conference tournaments, and the NCAA Men’s Volleyball National Committee chooses one team for an at-large bid.
With Selection Sunday one month away, the field is beginning to shrink for the lone at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, but the potential battles for Final Four seeding remains tight and intriguing.

The Midwest and East Coast have the majority of top matches tonight, but the spotlight will be on the West Coast for another match-up between two top-five nationally ranked teams.
No. 1 BYU and No. 4 Long Beach State will play each other in a match that could not only have big implications in the conference standings but in the race for the lone at-large spot to the NCAA Tournament. In addition, out in the MIVA Lindenwood looks to pull another upset this weekend as it plays host to Loyola.

The outside attacker who led Penn State to become the first non-West Coast team to win a national championship in NCAA men’s volleyball history and former two head coaches will be inducted into the EIVA Hall of Fame.
The EIVA announced Thursday that Ivan Contreras, Glen Nelson and Wayne Stalick will be the second class inducted into the conference’s hall of fame.
