Long Beach State, Pepperdine players make initial U.S. roster for Nations League

USA Volleyball announced Monday that Long Beach State outside attacker TJ DeFalco, Long Beach State opposite Kyle Ensing and Pepperdine outside attacker David Wieczorek were selected to the 26-player U.S. roster for the upcoming FIVB Volleyball Nations League. (more…)

USA Volleyball tabs two experienced coaches to lead youth, junior national teams
The next two head coaches who will attempt to lead the United States to the U19 and U21 FIVB World Championship were already on the U.S. sidelines.
USA Volleyball announced earlier this week that Jonah Carson was named the head coach of the U.S. Men’s Junior National Team and Brad Keller was selected as the head coach for the U.S. Boys’ Youth National Team. (more…)

NORCECA Continental Championship matches to follow tonight
The United States already clinched a berth to 2018 FIVB World Championship and now it will attempt to win a NORCECA title.
The NORCECA Continental Championship will conclude today as United States plays the Dominican Republic in the gold-medal match. Both teams have earned spots in the World Championship, while Mexico and Canada will meet in the bronze-medal match with the remaining NORCECA berth to the World Championship on the line.
