  • NCAA Tournament brackets now open for postseason bracket challenge

    The field is set for the NCAA Tournament and now its time to fill out a bracket for a chance to win an official NCAA Tournament volleyball from Molten USA.

    The annual Off the Block NCAA Men’s Volleyball Postseason Bracket Challenge gives fans the opportunity to predict who will win matches in the four-team NCAA Tournament, along with the three conference tournaments.

  • UC Irvine earns lone at-large bid as NCAA Tournament unveiled

    The defending national champions UC Irvine will now have a chance to defend its title in the NCAA Tournament.

    The men’s volleyball NCAA selection committee announced Sunday afternoon that the Anteaters will receive the only at-large bid as it unveiled the four-team bracket for the Division I-II national championships.

  • The final men’s volleyball bracketology

    It’s Selection Sunday and Off the Block is unveiling its final bracketology projections for the upcoming men’s volleyball NCAA Tournament.

    The men’s volleyball NCAA Tournament is comprised of four teams. BYU, Loyola and Penn State earned automatic bids to the Final Four after winning their conference tournaments on Saturday, while the lone at-large bid will be announced by the NCAA Men’s Volleyball National Committee at 3 p.m. (EST) Sunday as part of Selection Sunday.

  • Patch, Sander blows BYU past Long Beach State and into NCAA Tournament

    BYU saved its best postseason match in the conference tournament for when it needed it the most and punched its ticket to the NCAA Tournament.

    All-American freshman outside attacker Ben Patch had a match-high 18 kills and 11 digs as the No. 1 seed BYU swept the No. 3 seed Long Beach State 28-26, 25-22, 25-22 on Saturday in Provo, Utah to win the MPSF Tournament.

  • Loyola wins MIVA, heading to NCAA Tourney for first time in team history

    Almost 20 years since joining the MIVA, Loyola is finally conference championships.

    The No. 2 seed Loyola rallied from a one-game deficit on the road to defeat the No. 1 seed Lewis 23-25, 25-23, 10-25, 25-22, 15– on Saturday in Romeoville, Ill., to clinch the program’s first MIVA championship and first trip to the four-team NCAA Tournament.

  • Rus-sanity powers Penn State past Harvard to win 15th straight EIVA title

    The Russell brothers lived up to their all-conference status and have put Penn State back into the NCAA Tournament

    Outside attacker Peter Russell had a match-high 14 kills while his younger brother Aaron Russell added 10 kills as Penn State swept Harvard 25-16, 25-16, 25-16 in the EIVA Tournament championship on Saturday in University Park, Pa.
